Alorica Teams Up with People Helping People in Salt Lake City
MAGNA, UT., January 27, 2009
Alorica Inc., a leading customer service management firm, today announced participation in the People Helping People employment skills development organization. Alorica was asked to speak to the organization’s participants at the People Helping People facility located at 205 North 400 West, Salt Lake City at 5:30 pm on January 22, 2009.
Lou DiBella, human resources manager at Alorica’s Salt Lake City contact center, advised the participants on career-related skills, such as finding jobs and presenting themselves to a new employer.
"There are many opportunities at Alorica," says DiBella. "And, someone in a situation similar to many of these women may just need to be given the skills to succeed in the workplace. Combined with the right opportunity, my hope is that a few of these women may find that Alorica is the place where they can discover their true potential."
People Helping People volunteer-based training program is designed to help low-income women in the Salt Lake metropolitan area. The 6-month program is supported heavily by professionals in the area who mentor, coach, and provide employment referral services and more to disadvantaged women.
