Larry had a doctor visit two years ago. Larry was shocked to later get an invoice from the doctor’s office demanding payment. Why? And why two years later? Confused and irritated, Larry called his insurance company to get to the bottom of it.
Lisa answered, and as Larry suspected, she confirmed he was not responsible for the charge. Fine, but what does this mean? Larry dreaded the thought of making more calls and settling this disagreement with his doctor’s office.
In a rare act of courtesy, Lisa offered to call the doctor’s office while Larry waited on the line. She instantly resolved the error and the balance was removed. Larry was relieved that he didn’t have any more hassle. He can continue on with his day.
