Challenge:
Jessica was always able to raise her teen-aged daughter on her own. However, after being laid off from her job of ten years, she struggled finding another position. She was forced to move into the basement of a friend’s home. Her daughter was graduating in months and she could no longer provide for her.
Engage:
Jessica heard a new call center company, Alorica, was coming to town. Although having never worked in a call center before, she was ready and willing to apply. Tears came rushing down her face as she accepted the position as a customer service agent.
Resolve:
Jessica worked hard in training and showed up every day for class. After being on the phones for several months, she joined the workforce team. She recognized this was another opportunity to learn new skills. She then applied for a quality supervisor position. Jessica was able to get her life back on track within several months. She rented her own apartment, was able to purchase a car, and best yet, was able to give her daughter a nice graduation gift.
