Ready to re-engage the workforce after retirement

Challenge:

Robert was fortunate in being able to retire after having worked with one company for nearly 40 years. However, after a year, he decided he was bored and missed having something to get up for and go to every day. Robert was committed to finding a job to keep his mind active and engaged!

Robert, who knew there were lots of people working at the Alorica call center down the street, figured it would be nice to work with a variety of people. He found the training to be enjoyable — learning more about the computer, different systems, and proper service etiquette. The part-time job was perfect for him. What he didn’t realize was, he would soon be starting a second career in his lifetime!

Resolve:

Robert experienced immediate success as an agent. He is now part of a team in a dynamic environment. He thoroughly enjoys coming to work every day and has built some family-like relationships with many coworkers. He enjoys the sense of “team” and likes to help others experience success. Robert is thrilled about the money he is making in retirement and having another chapter of his life filled with opportunity!
