Fast-Growing Technology Company Expands to El Paso

The El Paso Regional Economic Development Corporation (REDCo) and Alorica, Inc. are pleased to announce plans for the opening of an in-bound customer service center at 1440 Goodyear, El Paso. The center, expected to open February 4th, 2008, plans to hire 250 positions in January and a total of 600 to 700 positions by the end of the year. Company officials anticipate a long-term potential of over 1500 full-time positions.

Alorica will commence its recruiting efforts for a February 4, 2008 training class by hosting "Career Empowerment Events" January 11, 2008 through February 1, 2008 at 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm weekdays except Wednesdays, which will be held at 1 pm, 4 pm, and 6:30 pm. The Career Empowerment Events and interviews will be held on site at the customer service center at 1440 Goodyear, El Paso, at which time many candidates will receive an offer of employment before leaving the event. No reservation is necessary, and facility walk-ins are encouraged. In addition to the contact center’s events, Alorica will be accepting applications through their website at www.aloricajobs.com. Alorica is also promoting in-person application submissions anytime at the El Paso facility for persons unable to attend the Career Empowerment Events.
