An Alorica Inc. official said on Thursday that 500 people will be working for the company at its Owensboro customer service center by the end of this year, more than six months sooner than earlier projections.
“We’re very excited,” said Owensboro Mayor Tom Watson. “We’re looking for public-private partnerships. It’s the way to generate revenue. This is a great community. It is faith-based and we’re all here to work toward the good of the community and to make OBKY the best it can be.”
