Joplin (MO)- Alorica employees come together to help make Christmas a little brighter for some local kids.
Company officials say employees donated about 400 toys, along with cash and materials, to wrap presents to the Joplin Fire Department’s “Christmas For Kids” campaign. Donations have been coming in for the the past three weeks, and officials say support was strong from the very beginning. They say some of the employees already knew about the program, and how it helps kids at Christmas.
“So that kind of touched a special place in their heart there, and they decided that they wanted to come and give back a little bit and be able to donate some toys and some cash, or maybe even just their time to this cause. That means something to them since they’ve had that help in the past,” says Jeb Cook, Community Relations Leader.
“Christmas For Kids” still needs toys for kids 12 to 16 years old, like video games. And it’s not too late to register for “Christmas For Kids.”
