The Philippines is one of the most established regions for outsourcing solutions in the world, largely attributed to its cost-effective, tech-savvy and highly motivated workforce. And as the second largest outsourcing employer in the country, Alorica has been providing insanely great end-to-end services across all industries for 15 years. With an employee base of 38,500 spanned across 17 sites, there was a need to expand our mantra of Making Lives Better… One Interaction at a Time.
Making Lives Better with Alorica (MLBA), a non-profit 501(c)(3) that is not a subsidiary or owned by Alorica Inc., was created to make a positive impact in the lives of Alorica employees, their families and local organizations. Challenging the traditional thinking behind corporate social responsibility, each chapter empowers Alorica team members to choose how to assist those in need through grants, volunteering and coming up with their own creative ways to help their communities.
Due to the overwhelming positive reaction MLBA received in the U.S., the organization has expanded across Alorica’s Asia Pacific region. 15 chapters have deployed and are ready to share the love through MLBA. Led by the executive board for the region, including Joyce Lee, international philanthropist, founder and president; Bing Prima-Patino; Irene Tan; Jamea Garcia and Bobbi Herrera, the expansion of MLBA in the Philippines will further allow Alorica employees to raise and distribute funds impacting Alorica team members in need and their communities through local nonprofits.
The 15 chapters now in operation include: Alabang, Alorica Center, Alphaland, Cebu, Centris, Clark, Cubao, Cybergate, Davao, Exportbank, Fort Bonifacio, Ilocos, Lipa, Marikina, and Mezza.
