BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - Alorica in Bluefield, West Virginia sponsored a blood drive with the Red Cross, Friday, March 8.

This was their very first blood drive event, and it was a huge success. Within the first two hours of starting the event, they had to completely stop taking in new donations.

Not only did the community come in a staggering amount, but the staff at Alorica, almost 300 in all came together and donated to the event.

While the event was prepared and ready for a big group of donors to come by, the number of donors superseded their expectations, and as a result, they cut off any walk ins.

Soon after the event ended, Alorica posted onto Facebook how much of a success it was and stated that they plan to schedule more in the future for full story, click here.
